The second Stakeholder Workshop for the Underground Sun Storage project took place at the Grand Hotel Wien on 21 November 2014. It featured presentation and discussion of the latest results from the various work packages by members of the research consortium, and an initial overview of plans for the field trial. These sessions were complemented by contributions from international research groups working on projects with similar themes. There was a lively exchange of ideas in the discussions that followed the presentations, and the project team as well as the external experts and stakeholders benefited from each other’s work.
